1st International Workshop on Information Security (WIS) organized by the Master of Information Management and Security of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. The workshop aims to share knowledge, promote scientific discussion on approaches, developments, analyzed studies and advances in information security, the cybersecurity characterization and the management attempts of security information issues.

Topics include but not limited to:

• cybersecurity
• Application security
• Cloud security
• Cryptography
• Infrastructure security
• Incident response
• Vulnerability management
• Disaster recovery

Authors must submit an original full paper (12 to 15 pages) that has not previously been published. All contributions must be written in English.

Authors must follow CEUR styles either for LaTeX or for MSWord (http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-XXX/CEURART.zip) for the preparation of their papers. We encourage authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each accepted paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign an Author Agreement form.

All the submissions must be done through Easychair

Accepted papers will be presented during the workshop. Authors are required to prepare a presentation of 15 minutes, followed by a Q & A of 5 minutes. In case authors want to present using their own device, they need to make sure to bring the necessary adaptors (HDMI or VGA). All presentations must be given in English.
